Hello world! My name is Michael, and I am a passionate and creative individual with a diverse background and a love for learning and growing.
Ugh, that’s just painful, isn’t it? I don’t know about you, but I hate writing bios or About Me pages. It’s not that I can’t write about myself, but honestly, who reads these entire things?
Regardless, I suppose I should throw this on here, so here’s a short rundown of who I am.
I’m a father of 3, husband of 1, plus 2 cats, and a dog. The whole thing.
I’ve worked in the technology field for the last 20+ years. I’ve been a dad for 17 with a gap of nearly 12 years between kids #2 and #3.
I’ve been divorced. I’ve been remarried. I have a unique relationship and story with each of my children. If there’s one thing you can say about my life for certainty is that it has constantly and will forever go “off script”.
I have dabbled in the world of graphic design for nearly my entire adult life. While there are arguments that it should have been, it is nothing that I have ever fully pursued, even as a freelancing side gig.
I have had websites off and on for over a decade. I’m a total Marvel zombie, Star Wars fanboy, Trekkie, and someone who has embraced his inner child and become a sucker for all things that could be labeled “nostalgic”. Additionally, I love checking out new technology and writing reviews or how-to’s for others. All of which you can read about on my website Fatherhood Reloaded.
This site, Parsons Media, is best described as my playground. It is my digital getaway. A mental focal point for myself. It is just not a blog, but essentially a digital representation of myself. You’ll find me writing more personal blog posts than what you’ll find on my other sites. You’ll also find me highlighting things from personal projects such as a random graphic or logo design project.
Ultimately, I describe myself as a jack of all trades, master of none, and that’s what this site will ultimately be. I’m not afraid to try something new, and I’m always looking to learn.
Feel free to check out my opening post to learn more about me, my current online presence, and what lead me to create this new site. If you’d like to reach out just to say hi, for a potential collaboration, or have a suggestion for the subject of a new post, reach out to me through my contact page.
If social media is your thing, you can check me out all things things including X (Twitter), Instagram, Threads, and even Bluesky.
